Chrysanthemum Memorial & Golden Dragon Dance at Senso-ji

Japanese title: 浅草寺菊供養会・金龍の舞

Senso-ji Temple (Asakusa Sta.)

A Senso-ji tradition since the Meiji era: bring small chrysanthemums and swap them for ones offered in the main hall (about 6:30-16:00). A special chrysanthemum charm is offered only on this day, and the Golden Dragon Dance is performed at about 11:00, 14:00 and 15:00.
