About Kyochika

Kyochika (キョウチカ, “today, nearby”) is an independent guide to events in Tokyo. We collect art exhibitions, live music, food events, markets and festivals from the official websites and Instagram accounts of venues and organisers, and list them by date and by distance from your station.

How to use it

On the top page, choose the day you want to go out and the station you start from. Events are listed nearest first. You can filter by type, free entry, evening hours and events found on Instagram.

About the information

We list only what we could confirm on an official page or an official Instagram account. Dates, hours and prices can change, so please check the official page before you go. Event titles and descriptions on these pages are our own translations; each event page also shows the original Japanese title. Most official pages are in Japanese only.

Every Thursday we post picks for the Tokyo weekend on Instagram at @kyochika.tokyo. Add this site to your home screen to open it like an app.
